Hi all,I've been MIA on this project for a really long time, and it's definitely been nagging me! I thought I'd provide a little blog update before I start rolling out some new content. My goal with launching this site last summer was to provide well-researched guidance to friends and family (+ anyone else who should stumble across the site). As I became more involved in the "blogosphere", I began following more and more influencers who seemed like they may have similar objectives and target ... View the Post
Weekend in the Sonoma Coast
We just returned back from a relaxing, rejuvenating weekend in the Sonoma Coast and I had to share all the details . Tom's parents have a wonderful and very generous tradition of gifting us stays at unique hotels we haven't yet tried, based on recommendations from our savviest friends. We'd had a number of friends visit Timber Cove this year and have been looking forward to checking it out ourselves! Timber Cove is situated about 2 hours north (~60 miles) north of San Francisco, between ... View the Post
My Guide to Transitioning to Formula
The Honest Company Formula Dispenser / Baby's Only Formula / Klaire Labs Infant Probiotic / Comotomo Bottle Six months was a big transition time for Wyatt - I weaned him off of nursing, introduced formula for the first time, and introduced solid (pureed) foods. I know this is a challenging period for a lot of new moms, so I wanted to share what worked well for us in the transition. My Guide to Choosing a Convertible Car Seat
Nuna Rava Infant Convertible Car Seat I'm embarrassed to admit how long it took me to choose a convertible car seat (a recurring theme on this blog). Given convertible car seats are meant to take your child from baby to toddler - all the way up to 65 lbs in some cases - this felt like a particularly weighty decision (no pun intended). I went so deep into the far corners of the internet and at-home trials that I now feel I can speak with some authority on this particular product ... View the Post
Saturday in Sonoma
I was lucky enough to host my best girlfriends from home (Boston) last weekend - take me back! - and of course no girls' weekend would be complete without a trip to wine country. We decided to stay local and spend our Saturday in Sonoma - we are so lucky to live just 30 minutes away in Marin County! Sonoma is also the perfect day trip from San Francisco given its proximity to the city, and I find tends to be a bit less commercial than Napa proper. Northern California's wine region is immense, ... View the Post
