I've been looking back on our incredible adventure in India over this past Thanksgiving, and all the lovely photos we captured during this once-in-a-lifetime trip. Hopefully you had a chance to read my post Rajasthan: Jewel of India, with the highlights of our travels in this majestic region. I also wanted to separately recap the actual wedding events, which were truly unlike anything I've experienced before (or may again!), and share some of my favorite parts of the Indian wedding tradition ... Rajasthan: Jewel of India
We had been anticipating our trip to India for so long, it's hard to believe it's over! It was our first time being away from Wyatt for more than a couple days, so we were excited and nervous at the same time! Given this was our first trip away as a couple since Wyatt's arrival, we wanted to be sure we had a bit of rest and relaxation. Our original itinerary followed the "Golden Triangle" route of Delhi > Agra (Taj Mahal) > Jaipur, but after hearing from friends about the long hours ... View the Post
getaway guide: 10 travel essentials
I posted recently about our traveling essentials for baby here, but I didn't mention our favorites (adults only). Tom and I dated long distance across the pond (Boston > London) and country (Boston > San Francisco) for three years, so I like to think we have this travel thing down to a science. We have a packed travel schedule this month, with 4 (!) cross-country trips upcoming to celebrate best friends' impending nuptials. As we prepare for our journeys, I thought I'd share our tried ... traveling with baby
Tom and I recently took Baby A on his first cross-country trip, and we sure learned a lot from the experience! We were once the types to only bring carry-ons, regardless of the length of the trip - needless to say, traveling with baby was quite the adjustment! As we live across the country from our families in Boston, I knew we'd have to have the right products to travel well (and often) with our new friend. These are my top recommendations (note: he is just 3 months so not all will be ... View the Post
lake como
Tom and I debated many destinations for our honeymoon - as we've both had the opportunity to travel fairly extensively in Europe, we had originally hoped to go somewhere a bit further afield. But when it came down to it, we couldn't think of a place we'd rather be in early July. We opted for two weeks, the first in Lake Como and the second in Croatia, with stopovers in Venice and Milan in between. It was truly the perfect trip, and certainly one of our most indulgent. Let's just say Tom regained ... View the Post
london
In 2011, I moved to London after five years living in New York City. I was very fortunate to have my coworker and close friend accept me as his flatmate in Chelsea, and I landed with a solid handful of acquaintances and friends of friends. Within a few months, I had fully embraced the English lifestyle - in particular the newly awarded 25 days of "holiday", which afforded ample time for ski trips to Lech, weekends in Paris and stopovers in Mallorca. I grew to love spending hours just walking the ... View the Post
