While there is certainly no shortage of adorable clothing for baby boys, I must admit that I often struggle to get Wyatt dressed in the morning. He always seems to be graduating to the next size before I've had a chance to shop for it, leaving me with a pairing of too-long pants and a too-short top. So when I stumbled across Mac & Mia's kid's clothing subscription box through (yet another...) well-targeted Instagram placement, I thought I ought to give it a try. Here is my review of our ... Blog Update: September 2018
Hi all,I've been MIA on this project for a really long time, and it's definitely been nagging me! I thought I'd provide a little blog update before I start rolling out some new content. My goal with launching this site last summer was to provide well-researched guidance to friends and family (+ anyone else who should stumble across the site). As I became more involved in the "blogosphere", I began following more and more influencers who seemed like they may have similar objectives and target ... View the Post
Saturday in Sonoma
I was lucky enough to host my best girlfriends from home (Boston) last weekend - take me back! - and of course no girls' weekend would be complete without a trip to wine country. We decided to stay local and spend our Saturday in Sonoma - we are so lucky to live just 30 minutes away in Marin County! Sonoma is also the perfect day trip from San Francisco given its proximity to the city, and I find tends to be a bit less commercial than Napa proper. Bollywood Dreaming: My First Indian Wedding
I've been looking back on our incredible adventure in India over this past Thanksgiving, and all the lovely photos we captured during this once-in-a-lifetime trip. Hopefully you had a chance to read my post Rajasthan: Jewel of India, with the highlights of our travels in this majestic region. I also wanted to separately recap the actual wedding events, which were truly unlike anything I've experienced before (or may again!), and share some of my favorite parts of the Indian wedding tradition ... To The Market: Shop to Impact
Whenever I travel, I always purchase artisan wares to bring home as mementos. That's why I was so excited to learn about To The Market, an e-commerce platform providing access to unique artisan wares while at the same time empowering survivors of global conflicts. Their founder, Jane Mosbacher Morris, was a classmate of mine in high school in Connecticut, and she was as impressive then as she is today (her bio - including stints at the State Department and U.S. Secretary's Office of Global ... diaper bag checklist
The first outing with baby can truly be a daunting event. I know Tom and I raced back and forth from the car several times before our first trip out to get that one thing that we had left behind and might need for survival. Like anything, it gets easier with experience! These days, I have a shortlist (pictured below) that I check off quickly before long outings and keep in the pocket of our diaper bag to reference. We are generally out the door very quickly as I know our diaper bag is always ... View the Post
