Baby photoshoot props
Like all new moms, I wanted to document every last milestone of my baby’s journey. Of course, I needed the right props to do so! For baby A’s newborn photoshoot (so bougie), I ordered sweet little hats from this lovely shop (bear and elephant). I recommend ordering in advance as it took about a month from order date to delivery.
For the same reason, I wanted some cute age blocks to adorn all of baby A’s Instagrams. I thought these age blocks were darling and they come in a variety of colors.
Nursery decorations
In my nursery post, I showcase these sweet animal prints that I framed and hung around Baby A’s room. They have a variety of different themes and the illustrations are gorgeous (also, significantly cheaper than the RH Baby & Child versions you see everywhere). They arrived carefully packaged and ready for framing. I think they look best framed with a mat – be sure to consider the size of the frames you want to use as well as the mat width. I purchased a set of 5×7 prints, which I framed in 8×10 frames (mats included) that I purchased from Aaron Brothers (locations nationally).
I saw these adorable monkey curtain tiebacks on Pinterest and knew they would be the perfect compliment to the safari theme. They are just too cute! They also sell other animals if interested. I recommend ordering in advance as it took about a month from order date to delivery from Thailand.
Baby Shower
If you have a penchant for elephants like I do, you’ll find a wealth of goodies on Etsy! I purchased these (gender neutral) thank you notes in a sweet mint green to send all of our thank yous for our shower gifts. I also thought these gift boxes were just adorable and would be perfect for packaging a small shower favor (e.g., a fancy chocolate).
If you’re looking for shower activities, Etsy is also the perfect destination. I purchased this Celebrity Baby Name Game printable instant download (just $2.40!) for my best friend’s shower this fall. I simply downloaded the pdf and printed copies on some heavy cardstock (Amazon or Staples have hundreds of options) and cut them to size. This makes for a fun game appropriate for all ages in attendance!
I could go on and on… so many goodies! Etsy can be tough to navigate, but worth the effort for one-of-a-kind finds like these. Hopefully this checks a few gifts off your list – please share your favorites in the comments below!
